Celebrating the Arrival of a Baby Girl

On Sunday, March 3, 2024, several women of Blazin Trails Cowboy Church came together to host a baby shower for Shelby McClain who is expecting a baby girl. This joyous occasion marked the beginning of a new chapter in Colby and Shelby’s lives as they prepare to welcome their first child.

The baby shower was filled with delicious food, laughter, and the sharing of advice. But above all, it was a celebration of love and support for the growing family. The women of the church showered the McClains with encouragement and gifts–including plenty of diapers, which will undoubtedly come in handy!

A New Church Family

Shelby expressed her gratitude to the church, saying in a note, “We  joined the church nearly a year ago after attending the Ponderosa Rodeo and hearing Pastor Harvey speak. God led us to seek a new church home, and after our first Sunday at Blazin Trails Cowboy Church, we knew we had found it.”

Sharing a word of encouragement to others who may have never heard of our church “style”, Shelby went on to say, “We were a little hesitant at first as you can see, we’re not what you would consider “cowboys”. But after our first Sunday the welcome was undeniable and we knew this was where God was calling us to be.”

Since joining the church, they have been blessed with the upcoming arrival of their precious daughter.

A New Journey Together

The baby shower hosted by the church was a testament to sense of fellowship that the McClains have found within the church community. Shelby shared, “You made a family whom you are just beginning to get to know feel so loved and special. We’re grateful for God’s love shown to us and cannot wait to introduce our little girl to the church.”

The Blazin Trails Cowboy Church is grateful to have such a wonderful young couple as part of their church family.  Because, in this church, everyone is considered family, and the support and love shown to the McClains is a reflection of that.

As they embark on this new journey of parenthood, the McClains can rest assured that we will be there to support them every step of the way.
